Modern Kenya is a fascinating volume of essays that provide a unique perspective on some of the current issues facing this African nation. Where appropriate, the chapters include case studies, maps, tables, and photographs to further illustrate the major ideas presented. Interdisciplinary in its approach, this book will serve as an important resource in many academic subject areas, including African studies, comparative politics, sociology, and anthropology.
