Description
After years of violence and unconstitutional legislation, the United States of America hurtled towards an inevitable conflict. Following the resulting civil war, survivors from both sides now searched for some semblance of a life in the ravaged nation. People flocked to the few remaining cities to escape the uncertainty of the lawless countryside and Chicago is where Ayla hoped to find her way. Life was hard for most Americans and was no different for her. She spent her days working in the citys downtrodden market, and in the evenings, her and her roommates did their best to distract each other from their struggles. Things went on like that for a while and Ayla was starting to believe that her past could remain locked away, that is until an old friend came knocking at her door offering a choice: stay hidden in Chicago selling homemade clothes, or leave, and fight for the world she longed to rebuild.
