The aim of this book is to explore innovative forms of ethnographic representation, and also to show how, through these forms, a rich variety of "transcultural art" is being created. The accompanying Web site visualizes and sensualises the stories narrated in the book, unfolding a dramatic world of African dance, music, theatre and multimedia.
